It’s is always an amazing time getting together with Jamie for each of our sessions! When we met up at the Old Stone Church in West Boylston, MA back in February – freezing is probably an understatement. The weather was very well prepared for an Elsa session, I wish I could say the same for each of us! However, we powered through and had so much fun!
Jamie and I met last summer at a wedding I was photographing and the minute I heard she cosplays Disney, I knew this was going to be a great friendship! Disney runs through my veins, if you don’t believe me, ask to see my wedding collection guide and the names will give you a hint – or ask any of my kids my favorite vacation spot, they will tell you no place exists other than Disney World.
When Jamie and I met last month, the reservoir was still frozen solid, and the ground covered in hard, crunchy snow. It wasn’t hard to imagine this being a perfect location for Elsa to show off some of her magical powers. Having worked together on three previous cosplay sessions (check out my Facebook page for Ariel, Town Belle and Christmas Belle!), it was a bit odd to have a session that was not over run by children rushing up to meet the princess, however with how cold it was, it was not surprising! Jamie was such a trooper and willing to give anything a try, which despite the short time that we were photographing, gave us so many great shots in the end that I am so excited to share with you below!
If you are interested in chatting with Jamie, and having a princess friend visit with your little one (or even crashing your adult party – no shame!), you can reach her through her Facebook page, Ariel of Arendelle. You can also reach her through her party site, Pony Town Princess.
